Salary: USD75000 - USD100000 per annum
The EHS Engineer will be responsible for:
- Supporting site-wide Environmental, Health & Safety programs within a manufacturing environment.
- Investigating workplace injuries, incidents, and near misses while driving corrective actions to closure.
- Conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments.
- Developing and delivering EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
- Maintaining EHS training records and training matrices.
- Performing facility safety inspections and EHS audits.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Managing hazardous waste programs and related documentation.
- Maintaining Safety Data Sheet (SDS) databases and chemical approval processes.
- Managing and maintaining electrical safety programs.
- Identifying and correcting workplace hazards involving chemical, physical, and biological exposures.
- Assisting with emergency preparedness activities and emergency response drills.
- Monitoring contractor and vendor compliance with facility safety requirements.
- Maintaining regulatory records and supporting required environmental and safety reporting.
- Partnering with operations and leadership teams to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
The EHS Engineer will have the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of EHS, Safety, or Environmental Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance programs
- Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Experience creating and maintaining Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
- Experience delivering safety training programs
- Knowledge of EPA regulations and hazardous waste management
- Experience conducting EHS audits and facility inspections
- Strong communication and organizational skills
