Job summary

Dave Steel Company is seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Health & Safety to lead and continuously improve our safety culture across multiple steel fabrication facilities in the United States. This executive role develops, implements, and maintains world‑class EHS programs that protect employees and support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in structural steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or metal fabrication.
• Multi-site manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the EHS strategic plan.
• Lead safety culture initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT compliance and reporting.
• Establish safety KPIs and report to executives.
• Oversee environmental permits, waste, air quality, and spill programs.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance on hazard reduction.
