Job summary

Continental Carbon Co. in Ponca City, OK is seeking an experienced EHS professional to plan, manage, and coordinate safety, health, and environmental programs across the plant.

The role interfaces with regulatory agencies, conducts inspections, and leads incident investigations and training to maintain compliance and prevent incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OSHA/EPA regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Safety or environmental field is required.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with EHS responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, public speaking and technical writing skills.
• Willingness to travel to other plant locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate EHS policies and procedures.
• Coordinate safety inspections, incident investigations, and OSHA reporting.
• Lead training and orientation on safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure regulatory permits and inspections are maintained.
