Job summary

Concentric is seeking an experienced Environment, Health, and Safety Director to lead our EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety across dispersed operations. This role reports to the VP of HR, Safety & Training and oversees a team of 2+ professionals.

You will drive risk reduction, manage DOT compliance, sustainability initiatives, and incident investigations while partnering with Operations, HR, and external regulators to safeguard employees and the community.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health & Safety or related safety functions.
• Must have 5+ years’ experience in EHS leadership.
• Experience managing EHS budgets, capital safety projects, and vendor relationships.
• DOT compliance certifications or transportation safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall EHS strategy aligned with the company mission and values.
• Lead investigations involving injuries, environmental incidents, near misses, and property damage with root cause analysis.
• Monitor and interpret applicable EHS regulations to ensure compliance at all levels of the organization.
• Oversee workers' compensation, auto liability, and general liability claims and drive injury reduction.
• Establish KPIs for EHS and track progress toward objectives.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on EHS performance.
