Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of environmental, health and/or safety experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of environmental, health and/or safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, management and assessment of EHS strategies, policies and programs.
• Direct hazard evaluations, compliance reviews and needs assessments related to fire safety, life safety, and general safety.
• Oversee safety-related testing, repair, installation and infrastructure work.
• Engage with faculty, staff, students and guests to address safety concerns.
• Coordinate training for fire, life and general safety in multiple formats (online or in-person).
• Respond to campus emergencies and maintain 24/7 communication accessibility.
