Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope seeks an EHS Data Analyst and System Administrator to support environmental, health and safety data management, analytics, and ESG reporting. You will manage BI dashboards, automate reporting workflows, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role partners with the Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability Team to provide actionable insights, optimize data platforms, and deliver reports to senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Analytics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability)
  • Strong analytics, visualization, and reporting capabilities using BI tools
  • Experience with EHS/ESG data reporting and compliance programs
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to innovate, automate workflows, and drive improvements

Responsibilities

  • Provide data analysis for EHS and ESG metrics and reporting requirements.
  • Support ESG data collection, reporting processes, and senior leadership/Board reports.
  • Administer EHS data platforms: user mgmt, training, adoption, optimization.
  • Analyze trends and communicate findings via dashboards and presentations to leadership.
  • Support regulatory reporting (PFAS, TSCA, plastics registry) with internal teams and partners

What You'll Get to Do

The EHS Data Analyst and System Administrator is focused on supporting the organization's environmental, health & safety (EHS) and environmental, social & governance (ESG) data management, analytics, reporting, and technology platforms while ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements and reports to the Director of EHS. This role is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and thrives in a collaborative, multi-functional environment. A vital member of the Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

  • Provide data analysis for EHS and ESG metrics tracking and reporting requirements, including leading and lagging safety indicators, environmental performance metrics, climate risk reporting, and federal, state, provincial, and other regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Support the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ESG data collection, compilation, and reporting processes, including preparation of reports for senior leadership and Board-level audiences.
  • Serve as the system administrator for EHS online platforms, including user management, training, adoption support, and ongoing system optimization.
  • Analyze EHS and ESG data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate findings through dashboards, reports, and presentations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support chemical management reporting and disclosure requirements, including PFAS, plastics registry reporting, TSCA disclosures, and collaboration with internal teams, external consultants, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong technical expertise in data analytics, visualization, and reporting tools, including Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, database management, data lakes, and ETL processes.
  • Experience supporting environmental, health & safety (EHS), ESG, sustainability, compliance, or related reporting programs and familiarity with safety management systems (SMS), environmental compliance management systems (ECMS), and ESG reporting platforms.
  • Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions, locations, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated innovation mindset with the ability to improve processes, automate reporting workflows, reduce administrative burden, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
