Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations through regular inspections to ensure OSHA, local, and company EHS regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and provide solutions to mitigate risks and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Maintain all EHS-related records, including safety logs and incident reports; prepare reports for audits.
• Coordinate incident reporting and lead Root Cause Analysis; drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in or organize safety meetings to promote a proactive safety culture and align site activities with company goals.
• Facilitate EHS training programs, such as safety orientation for new hires and equipment training.
• Support the site during inspections and audits; ensure safety permits and supplies are up to date.
• Serve as a key contact for emergencies, ensuring first aid supplies are stocked and evacuation plans are tested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
