Arconic is seeking an EHS Coordinator in Danville, IL to manage EHS systems and lead efforts to reduce injury risk. The role collaborates with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and support staff to deploy comprehensive EHS programs supporting Arconic’s zero non-compliance and zero injuries goals.

The position emphasizes leading training, tracking metrics, and driving regulatory compliance. Evening on-call expectations are noted to support operations and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 2-4 years of Environmental, Health and Safety experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Export control awareness (ITAR/EAR) may apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS training coordination for hourly and salaried employees.
• Monitor, track, and report EHS metrics and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with incident investigations and develop root causes and corrective actions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to reduce risk of injury and implement process improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce or eliminate risk.
• Promote safety awareness through training and materials.
• Conduct plant audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
