Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial safety management or environmental science preferred.
• 1–3 years in a safety role within manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and property losses; prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain OSHA 300 log and ensure accurate reporting of injuries/illnesses.
• Organize safety training, including forklift operation and lockout/tagout.
• Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies during inspections.
• Support training material development and safety meetings across teams.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for on-site chemicals.
• Oversee contractor safety programs and promote a culture of safety.
