Job summary

Staffmark Group in Long Prairie, MN is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator to support and coordinate EHS programs across the site. You will work with employees, supervisors, and management to identify hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, provide safety training, investigate incidents, and promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in EHS, OSHA 30 training, and English proficiency; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in EHS or related field.
• OSHA 30 training or equivalent certification preferred.
• Read and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and general workplace safety practices.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain safety and environmental programs, policies, procedures and records.
• Support compliance with OSHA, MNOSHA, EPA, workers' compensation and other applicable requirements.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, workplace observations, hazard assessments, and JHA/JSAs.
• Identify safety hazards and develop corrective actions with supervisors and employees.
• Assist with safety training including new-hire orientation and refresher training.
• Maintain training records and employee certifications for programs such as LOTO and HazCom.
• Assist with emergency preparedness, drills, and response procedures.
• Support environmental compliance, inspections, waste management and related documentation.
• Assist with audits and corrective action planning.
