Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks an EHS Coordinator to partner with operations to analyze manufacturing processes and reduce hazards. You will advise management on OSHA/EPA compliance and coach employees in safe practices.

You will help establish corrective actions, conduct incident investigations, support permit applications, and maintain safety records across sites, with support from regional managers and EHS directors.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented approach to safety.
• Verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and operators.
• Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards using established programs and protocols.
• Collaborate with operations to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Complete incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Perform sampling and testing for quality control as needed.
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain safety records and prepare safety reports.
• Support site management in developing new safety programs and equipment.
• Enter safety data into Oldcastle software.
• Inspect work environments and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Halt unsafe actions and lead monthly safety inspections and meetings.
