Job summary

Standex is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety programs within a non-union electronics manufacturing environment.

The role promotes a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction by partnering with employees, supervisors, and leadership to identify hazards and prevent injuries, while maintaining OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 1–3 years EHS experience in manufacturing.
• US citizenship or permanent resident status.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
• Ability to perform job hazard analyses and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support OSHA compliance and safety policy implementation.
• Lead hazard assessments on the production floor and address hazards.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees.
• Perform inspections/audits; track corrective actions and records.
• Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Maintain environmental and safety records and SDSs.
