Job summary

BTD Manufacturing is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to lead comprehensive EHS programs across facilities. The role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining safety initiatives to protect employees and communities while partnering with operations and maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate will drive employee training, conduct regular safety inspections, and help advance EHS goals.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety preferred.
• 3–5 years of health and safety experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, establish, implement, and maintain EHS programs to protect employees and communities.
• Lead safety training for employees and measure safety standards in the workplace.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and assist leadership with EHS goals.
• Update the safety handbook with recommended changes and improvements.
• Onboard new Safety Coordinators across sites and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice EHS standards.
• Coordinate with corporate legal on health and safety-related matters.
