Job summary

Mittera in Florida seeks an EHS Coordinator to lead environmental health and safety initiatives across multiple sites, including Pompano Beach and Sunrise. You will inspect operations, drive safety programs, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and air quality guidelines.

The role requires strong communication, data analysis, and incident investigation skills, with a focus on building a culture of safe working practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an EHS role.
• Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to produce reports and develop policies.
• Good data analysis and risk assessment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the site representative for all EHS activities.
• Leads implementation of injury reduction efforts; promotes Zero Injury Culture.
• Responsible for site EHS trainings.
• Lead and conduct site incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Direct and manage site safety committee.
• Develop and lead internal auditing, inspections, and site assessments.
• Manage OSHA interactions.
