Job summary

Mittera Group is seeking an EHS Coordinator to join our team in Florida. The role focuses on enforcing OSHA, EPA, and other safety guidelines across multiple sites, including Pompano Beach and Sunrise.

You will lead training, incident investigations, risk assessments, and program improvements to foster a Zero Injury Culture. The position requires at least 3 years in industrial manufacturing and EHS, with strong computer and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, and safety software.
• Good verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an EHS role.
• Deep understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site representative for all EHS activities.
• Lead injury-reduction efforts and promote zero injury culture.
• Manage all regulatory and site-specific EHS trainings.
• Lead investigations, RCAs, and corrective actions.
• Assess equipment safety and recommend protective gear.
• Drive reduction of environmental impacts site-wide.
• Develop and conduct safety and environmental trainings.
• Direct safety committee and internal audits.
