Job summary

8Fleet Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support and maintain health, safety, and compliance programs across multiple sites.

The role collaborates with HR and Operations to ensure OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and drug testing programs are implemented effectively. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and experienced in safety coordination within warehouse, fleet, transportation, or logistics environments.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, HR compliance, workers' compensation, or a related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA and California workplace safety regulations (Cal/OSHA).
• Experience managing workers' compensation claims and coordinating drug & alcohol testing programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company health & safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance across sites.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and assist with incident investigations.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate with insurers and medical providers.
• Coordinate drug testing processes (TrustLine, Live Scan) and serve as onsite collector when needed.
• Perform regular safety audits, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Support relationships with workers' compensation, drug testing, and safety vendors.
