Job summary

MIRATECH Corporation in Houston, TX seeks an EHS Coordinator II to create and sustain safety programs across warehouse, outdoor installations and services. You will conduct inspections, train staff and act as the liaison for third-party EHS risk management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in manufacturing/construction with direct EHS experience, plus OSHA knowledge and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3+ years' experience in manufacturing and/or construction with direct EHS.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and local safety regulations.
• Technical writing experience.
• Familiarity with workplace tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Ability to teach safety standards and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in computer literacy and industry technology.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, implement and maintain safety programs for warehouses, outdoor installations and services.
• Conduct safety inspections and observation reports.
• Provide employee safety training and onboarding.
• Serve as liaison for third-party supplier EHS risk management operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and US regulations.
• Maintain EHS policies, procedures and documentation.
• Admin EHSQ software system and PPE inventory.
• Investigate accidents and support workers' compensation claims.
