Job summary

BTD Manufacturing, Inc. seeks an experienced EHS Coordinator to ensure safety compliance and drive continuous improvement in processes across the plant.

You will stay current with state and federal health and safety regulations, assist legal matters, help revise the safety handbook, onboard new coordinators, and lead CPR/First Aid certification renewals while supporting robust EHS programs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years health and safety experience required.
• Degree in Health & Safety preferred; knowledge of regulations encouraged.
• Ability to lead, delegate and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Meets all the essential functions of EHS Coordinator 1.
• Stays up to date on new state and federal health and EHS regulations.
• Assist corporate legal department to address health and safety-related matters.
• With EHS leadership, propose changes to the safety handbook.
• Assist in onboarding new Safety Coordinators from other BTD sites.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification to instruct BTD employees.
• Support development and continuous improvement of EHS programs.
