Qualifications

Job Description

This EHS Coordinator will be part of the QEHS Team and help shape and plan training and the overall landscape of EHS/QEHS within The LEGO Group at our Richmond location. QEHS is committed to ensure Safe and Premium Quality products, and to drive World Class Safety and Culture in our workplace. Provide EHS related advice and support to reduce risks for the organization. Promote positive behaviors and behaviors to establish healthy work styles through campaigns and communication of health-related issues.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist all departments with completion and documentation of Risk and Opportunity Assessments
  • Manage and maintain sites chemical management system
  • Development and maintenance of EHS SharePoint site, EHS related databases, and applications through Office 365 as well as statistics programming for EHS data analysis.
  • Manage sites Industrial Hygiene related programs and records
  • Assist with the development and implementation of EHS Management system
  • Coordinate activities related to sites Proactive Safety program
  • Assist production personnel and EHS Technicians with investigations of complex EHS events and with the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate special EHS meetings.
  • Support and back-up the EHS Manager as needed

Salary: $36.60 per hour

Are you up for the challenge?

Must have:

  • 5-7 years EHS experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations covering Environmental, Health, and Safety

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO45001, and ISO9001 management systems.
  • Experience in planning and implementing EHS programs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EHS issues and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining skills and training matrixes.
  • Experience with risk analysis methodologies and corrective action development.
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint and SAP systems
  • Office skills (Power point, Excel, Word, outlook etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Hygiene, Risk Analysis methodologies, and EHS Management systems
  • Problem Solving
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational. And leadership skills
