AtWork Group in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to help keep manufacturing operations safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible. This is a first-shift, direct-hire role with benefits beginning on day one.

You will apply OSHA and EPA requirements, support workplace safety, occupational health, and environmental regulatory compliance, and deliver safety training, incident reporting, and corrective actions in collaboration with production teams.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of workplace safety, occupational health, environmental health, safety regulations, and hazardous materials regulations.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, environmental management systems, and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance, production standards, and workers’ compensation processes; workers’ compensation experience is an asset.
• Strong report-writing, communication, and coordination skills.
• First aid and CPR credentials are preferred; relevant EHS or occupational health expertise is an advantage.
• Associates Degree in related field required

Job Summary

As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator, you’ ll help keep manufacturing operations safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible. You’ ll support workplace safety, occupational and employee health, and environmental regulatory compliance by applying Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements, along with applicable safety and hazardous materials regulations.

Duties

• Coordinate EHS activities across production areas, identify hazards, and help teams implement practical controls.
• Support environmental management systems and monitor environmental and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
• Help maintain compliance with production-related regulatory and legal standards, including employee health requirements and workers’ compensation law.
• Deliver or coordinate safety training and development, including first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) awareness.
• Prepare clear reports, document incidents, and track corrective actions.
