The Health and Safety Coordinator will work alongside the health and safety team and be responsible for completing various administrative duties such as entering data into excel spreadsheets, data analysis and reporting, scheduling along with clerical work. Develop Health and safety stats and trending analysis. Update safety metrics and administer Safety Incident Tracking database weekly. Performs data entry to ensure quality on incident tracking systems, monitor and set for approval, create reports. Standardize and develop PowerPoint presentations. Provide support and administrative assistance to the health and safety team. Communicate information to employees regarding health and safety policies and procedures. Prepare detailed statistical trend analysis and develop reports and presentations including the preparation of graphs and charts. Responsible for communication on safety bulletin boards and developing other means of communication. Processing invoices and creating P. O’s. Electronic filing to be done daily keeping up with all trackers to ensure the correct information is available to all members of the team. Processing and finalizing reports to be completed in a timely matter. Manage Safety training Matrix. Assist in safety audits and any applicable compliance. Requirements include Degree or Diploma in health and safety or equivalent education and experience, 1-3 years’ experience as an EHS professional or in a related role, comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and industry safety standards, willingness to travel with Driver’s License required, strong computer proficiency including MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel and computer databases, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills, self-starting proactive individual who can work well independently and in a team environment, attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, energetic, goal oriented, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
