About The Role

ISS is seeking an EHS Construction Manager to support an installation project involving civil construction work in the Oil & Gas industry. This role will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure all HSE responsibilities are effectively implemented and maintained on-site.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Primary Preference: Construction management experience with some safety experience.
• Secondary Preference: Strong construction safety background, ideally with experience in specialty gases, natural gas, or oil & gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the site safety program.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate hazards across the project site.
• Provide coaching and oversight to site personnel on health, safety, environmental, and emergency protocols.
• Conduct HSE orientations for all site personnel and visitors.
• Manage the work permit system and ensure protective measures are in place.
• Oversee the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program in alignment with project scope.
• Prepare and submit monthly HSE performance reports.
• Review contractor risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSAs).
• Monitor compliance with HSE standards and facilitate regular safety meetings.
• Participate in behavior-based safety (BBS) walks and observations.
• Support incident response, reporting, and investigations (accidents, near misses, environmental issues, etc.).

Start Date: 8/1/2025

Duration: 7 months

Work Schedule: 5-10’s

Mobilization: Flight + Rental or Personal Vehicle
