Job summary

Pfeiffer Vacuum is seeking an EHS Specialist for the Tempe Service Center to support implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs. You will work with site leadership to identify hazards, document incidents, and strengthen a proactive safety culture.

The role requires 2–4 years of EHS experience, OSHA/EPA knowledge, and ISO 14001 familiarity. The position focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 2–4 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience with OSHA/EPA programs and ISO 14001 preferred.
• Hazardous waste and chemical management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and consistent execution of EHS policies and standards at the Tempe, Arizona Service Center.
• Conduct routine safety, environmental, and compliance inspections; document findings and close corrective actions.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement practical corrective actions with site leadership.
• Assist with OSHA/EPA compliance and escalate significant concerns to EHS leadership.
• Maintain EHS records, permits, logs, inspections, and supporting documentation; support audits.
