Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Nashville is seeking an EHS Compliance Technician to lead safety inspections and ensure machine guards, signage, and housekeeping meet standards. You will coach teams on emergency response procedures and facilitate toolbox talks to elevate safety culture.

You’ll analyze incident reports, document root causes, and outline corrective actions while maintaining records and supporting continuous improvement with managers across the facility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 2+ years in a safety function, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Solid command of OSHA standards and applicable safety regulations.
• Certifications such as CSP or OHST are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform recurring safety inspections and audits to surface and mitigate risks.
• Create, refine, and roll out safety policies and procedures that align with regulatory expectations.
• Deliver training and guidance on safe work practices and site-wide emergency protocols.
• Lead incident/accident investigations; capture findings and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of all safety activities and outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership and teams to reinforce a proactive, improvement-focused safety mindset.
• Track industry developments to integrate evolving best practices into daily operations.
