Job summary

Gate Gourmet in Newark, New Jersey, is seeking a Safety and Compliance Representative to support and monitor our EH&S program at the unit level, focusing on prevention of injuries and environmental compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in safety/risk, preferably in airline or fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA rules and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts safety training programs for the unit employees.
• Manages training matrix for the unit.
• Reviews transportation training and manuals to ensure compliance.
• Investigates accidents and injuries and supports corrective actions.
• Communicates prevention steps via safety alerts and briefings.
• Supports EHS staff and participates in audits and meetings.
• Assists with OSHA compliance and safety programs.
