Job summary

Catalent’s Chelsea, MA site is a GMP facility specializing in inhalation drug product manufacturing. The Manager, Environmental, Health and Safety leads EHS programs across multiple locations, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety excellence for a diverse workforce.

The role oversees risk assessments, emergency response, audits, and hazardous communications, with a focus on continuous safety improvements and OSHA-driven standards. Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, Chelsea, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
• 5–7 years of EHS experience in a relevant role.
• Minimum 1 year of direct management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to sit/stand/walk; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and facilitate all EHS activities to meet site goals.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State EHS regulations and Catalent guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigations.
• Oversee the site Emergency Response team and drills.
• Manage EHS incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Develop internal audit checklists to comply with OSHA standards.
