Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an EH&S Manager in Crooksville, OH to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, lead accident investigations, and drive continuous improvement through policy management, training, inspections, and workers’ compensation oversight.

The role requires collaboration with facilities and production teams to implement safer processes, develop emergency plans, and manage environmental reporting. CSP/ASP and 5+ years of manufacturing EH&S experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Safety, Environmental, or related Engineering field; MS or MBA degree is desirable.
• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in EH&S or related capacity.
• CSP or ASP certification strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of 6S and continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Chair the Safety Steering Committee and lead critical safety and health initiatives.
• Coordinate EH&S upgrades with Facilities Manager and maintenance teams.
• Manage EH&S programs, training, JHAs, and incident investigations.
• Evaluate hazardous conditions and develop hazard control practices and missing improvements.
• Collaborate with department managers on safety and 6S change initiatives.
• Lead plant EH&S initiatives driving cultural change with a long-term strategy.
• Track, report, and analyze accident statistics to identify problem areas.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports (Tier II, Form R, etc.) and tracking compliance with Gensuite.
• Develop emergency response procedures and contingency plans for the site.
• Coordinate design changes in wastewater, air quality, and noise to meet compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and PCC EHS requirements.
