Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an EHS Compliance and Integration Specialist in Gilbert, AZ to independently verify that EHS controls are effective across regions. You will serve in the COMPASS audit lead pool, classify findings, and ensure corrective actions close within 90 days while supporting acquisitions and state regulations.

You'll work with Corporate EHS Compliance and Integration and Regional teams to improve audit practices, track regulatory changes, and drive ISO 45001 readiness across Loenbro's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in construction, fabrication or industrial settings, including auditing or compliance.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, MSHA requirements, and state regulations.
• TapRooT® investigator training, or the ability to complete facilitator certification within [timeframe] of hire.
• Strong written reporting skills, and the ability to present findings to senior management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an EHS management system.

Responsibilities

• Lead COMPASS audits and classify findings using Corporate criteria.
• Conduct forward and backward trace sampling to verify controls.
• Assess indicators such as near-miss reporting and JHA quality.
• Support regional internal evaluations and corrective actions within 90 days.
• Assist in ISO 45001 readiness and internal audit processes.
• Track state regulations and update local policies accordingly.
