Job summary

Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (ERM) seeks a Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance to join our team in Philadelphia, PA or Ewing, NJ.

You will work with project managers and senior leaders to deliver environmental compliance and sustainability solutions for global clients. This role involves field investigations, data collection, preparing plans and permits (hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, NPDES), and developing EHS management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, environmental science, geology, occupational health & safety or related field.
• 2–5 years of environmental experience or internships.
• Willingness to travel and outdoor work in variable conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience drafting technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation and due diligence projects.
• Prepare plans, permits and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, NPDES and wastewater programs.
• Perform EHS compliance assessments and implement follow-up corrective actions.
• Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs.
• Provide on-site and remote EHS compliance support to clients.
• Perform Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments for property transactions.
• Conduct environmental fieldwork (groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water) and ecological studies.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule with high-quality deliverables.
