Google seeks an EHS Cluster Manager to lead the Global Environment, Health, and Safety efforts across its Bay Area campus. You will architect and implement the Global Safety Management Framework, partnering with Engineering and Facilities to deliver safety solutions for high-stakes environments including R&D labs and complex electrical infrastructure.

Role requires technical expertise, regulatory savvy, and project leadership to anticipate, deter, detect, and act, ensuring safety and resiliency

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) operations including EPA, OSHA and Washington State regulations.

Aufgaben

• Develop and integrate safety solutions based on proactive risk assessments to maximize worker protection in R&D and lab settings.
• Oversee the creation of educational materials, program documentation, and digital tracking systems to ensure safety solutions scale across the Bay Area cluster.
• Partner with site leads to embed safety protocols into daily operations, ensuring minimal friction and maximum compliance.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments; draft high-level reports for leadership on site safety and health.
• Lead RCA investigations for incidents or near misses, identify corrective actions and ensure environmental permitting and compliance at local, state, and federal levels.
