Job summary

Google LLC in the United States is seeking an Area Program Manager for Environmental, Health and Safety Construction to lead multi-disciplinary EHS programs across Google Data Centers in the Richmond, VA area.

You will coordinate with general contractors and trades to design, deploy and monitor EHS initiatives, manage schedules and risks, and report metrics to stakeholders, ensuring safety and compliance while supporting on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in construction, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience in safety metrics reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and ownership of the EHS program for area construction oversight and data collection.
• Ensure contractors deliver on program safety performance expectations and contract requirements, providing timely solutions to issues.
• Monitor, advise and assist construction project teams to protect people and environment and ensure compliance.
• Drive a culture of continuous learning and alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Liaise with the wider Construction EHS team to implement best practices, track progress, capture trends, analyze data, and mitigate risks.
