Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an EHS Co‑Op in Manati, PR, to support data analysis and continuous improvement within the EHS team. The role runs January–December 2027, full‑time (40 hours/week).

You will collect and analyze EHS data, develop dashboards, identify trends, and collaborate with EHS, Operations, and Management to drive safety improvements and training alignment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited university is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural Sciences, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing EHS data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key EHS metrics such as Good Saves, Incident Investigations, and CAPAs.
  • Identifying trends and patterns to support proactive safety measures and risk reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborating with EHS, Operations, and Management teams to provide data-driven recommendations and insights.
  • Supporting risk assessment and incident prevention projects through data analysis.
  • Assisting with EHS audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
  • Reviewing, updating, and maintaining JSAs to align with EHS standards and training curricula.
  • Identifying areas that require new JSAs and supporting their creation and implementation.

We are searching for the best talent for EHS Analyst Co-Op to be in Manati, PR .

- The Co-op term is from January to December, 2027.
- Full time requirement (40 hours per week).

Purpose:

The EHS Co-Op will support the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team through data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will help monitor key safety metrics, support incident prevention efforts, and ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson EHS standards by maintaining Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and related training requirements.

You will be responsible for:
  • Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing EHS data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key EHS metrics such as Good Saves, Incident Investigations, and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  • Identifying trends and patterns to support proactive safety measures and risk reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborating with EHS, Operations, and Management teams to provide data-driven recommendations and insights.
  • Supporting risk assessment and incident prevention projects through data analysis.
  • Assisting with EHS audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
  • Reviewing, updating, and maintaining Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to ensure alignment with Johnson & Johnson EHS standards.
  • Ensuring updated JSAs are properly documented within company systems and linked to the appropriate training curriculum.
  • Identifying areas that require new JSAs and supporting their creation and implementation.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that promote workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited university is required.

Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) .
  • Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience analyzing data and creating dashboards is preferred.
