Job summary

Trinity Parts & Components in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an EHS Analyst to support and improve environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple operations. The role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture.

You will assist with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, internal audits, and incident investigations. Travel to sites may be required to implement improvements and deliver training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within manufacturing, industrial, rail services, or related environments
  • Experience conducting inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments preferred

Trinity Parts & Components is looking for an EHS Analyst in Fort Worth, TX!

The EHS Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs across the Parts & Components, MRU, and RSI business operations. This role assists in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a proactive culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

EHS Program Support

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs across Parts & Components, MRU, and RSI operations
  • Assist with hazard identification, risk assessments, inspections, and corrective action tracking
  • Support emergency preparedness, environmental compliance, and safety initiatives

Regulatory Compliance

  • Assist with ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Maintain required EHS records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation
  • Support regulatory inspections and audits as needed

ISO Management Systems

  • Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems at certified locations
  • Coordinate internal audits, corrective actions, management review activities, and certification audit supports
  • Maintain management system documentation and promote continuous improvement efforts

Training and Employee Engagement

  • Assist with the development, coordination, and delivery of EHS training programs
  • Promote employee involvement in safety and environmental initiatives
  • Support communication of EHS policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Assist with the investigation of incidents, near misses, and environmental events
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action development
  • Maintain incident records and reporting requirements

Auditing and Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct routine inspections, audits, and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor EHS performance metrics and assist with reporting activities
  • Support continuous improvement projects that enhance safety, environmental performance, and operational effectiveness

Collaboration and Support

  • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to integrate EHS requirements into daily operations
  • Serve as a resource for environmental, health, and safety matters across supported business units
  • Travel to operating locations as needed to provide EHS support and guidance

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • 2-5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within manufacturing, industrial, maintenance, repair, rail services, distribution, or related environments
  • Experience conducting inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments preferred
  • Experience supporting ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local regulations
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance, industrial safety, and incident investigation practices
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS information management systems
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Certifications in ASP, CSP, OHST, CHMM, ISO 14001 Internal Auditor, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, or similar certifications are preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as business needs require
