Job summary

The EHR Specialist position at Suquamish Tribe provides expert technical support for the tribe's electronic health record system across multiple health facilities. You will respond to user tickets, train clinical staff, build and deliver essential EHR reports, and manage user access in line with policy.

Travel between facilities is required. Responsibilities include coordinating with health technology vendors, assisting with system upgrades, and documenting procedures to ensure HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support to multiple end users in a healthcare environment.
• Working knowledge of EHR applications and healthcare workflows.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to EHR users and respond to tickets/access requests.
• Build, maintain, and deliver EHR reports for clinical and operational needs.
• Create and manage EHR user accounts and access rights.
• Troubleshoot EHR application, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT staff on system improvements and upgrades.
• Develop EHR procedures, documentation, and training materials.
