Job summary

Suquamish Indian Tribe in Port Madison, WA, seeks an EHR Specialist to provide technical support for the tribe's EHR system across health facilities. You will train clinical staff, build reports, manage user access, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues in a HIPAA-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support to multiple end users and endpoint devices.
• Working knowledge of EHR applications, healthcare technology, and healthcare workflows.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and applicable privacy and security requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the tribe's EHR systems.
• Provide technical support to EHR users and respond to tickets, access requests, and system-related issues.
• Provide EHR training to clinical and administrative staff.
• Build, maintain, and deliver EHR reports to support clinical and operational needs.
• Create, maintain, and terminate EHR user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Troubleshoot EHR application, hardware, software, connectivity, and peripheral device issues.
• Coordinate with health technology vendors, IT staff, and other departments to resolve issues and support system improvements.
• Develop and maintain EHR procedures, documentation, and training materials.
• Assist with EHR system audits, security requirements, backups, and recovery processes.
• Identify opportunities for EHR workflow and system improvements and assist with implementation.
• Define, document, schedule, and coordinate miscellaneous EHR-related projects.
