Ventures Unlimited, Inc. seeks an experienced EHR Support Specialist to assist healthcare organizations with EHR integration, data exchange, and clinical data quality initiatives.

You’ll work with Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Allscripts/Veradigm, or NextGen to optimize onboarding and interoperability. Candidates should have deep knowledge of HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, USCDI, and HIPAA privacy and security, partnering with clinicians and IT teams to ensure reliable data flows and regulatory

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Allscripts/Veradigm, or NextGen.
• 5+ years’ experience in healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, USCDI).
• 3+ years mapping clinical workflows to data exchange requirements.
• 3+ years explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• 3+ years HIPAA/privacy/security knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Support healthcare providers with EHR onboarding, technical integration, and data exchange processes.
• Assess EHR capabilities, interface configurations, and data extraction workflows.
• Work with technical teams and EHR vendors to resolve integration and data ingestion issues.
• Apply interoperability standards including HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, and USCDI.
• Validate clinical data for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with exchange requirements.
• Troubleshoot data mapping, message structure, terminology, and transport-related issues.
• Support data quality improvement initiatives and clinical data validation.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and documentation to healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with provider relations, technical teams, and other stakeholders to improve onboarding and interoperability processes.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and privacy/security requirements.

We are looking for an experienced EHR Support Specialist to support healthcare organizations with Electronic Health Record (EHR) integration, health information exchange, and clinical data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, clinical workflows, and EHR integration troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support healthcare providers with EHR onboarding, technical integration, and data exchange processes.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Allscripts/Veradigm, or NextGen.
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, and USCDI.
• 5+ years of experience validating structured clinical data and troubleshooting EHR integration issues.
• 3+ years of experience interpreting clinical workflows and mapping them to data exchange requirements.
• 3+ years of experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• 3+ years of knowledge and experience related to HIPAA and healthcare privacy/security requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) onboarding and interoperability projects.
• Experience with SQL, interface engines, and data mapping tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare data exchange initiatives and digital health programs.
• Experience supporting rural or underserved healthcare providers.
