Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking an experienced informatics professional to lead and optimize its electronic health record initiatives. You will partner with the PMO, Epic teams, and clinical stakeholders to improve workflows, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes data sources design with BI tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau) and project management. A Bachelor’s degree and 4 years in informatics are required; Epic certification within 90 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Clinical Healthcare, Computer Technology or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Clinical Informatics preferred.
• 4 years of professional work experience in Informatics or related field required.
• Analytical and reporting skills using Excel, SQL, Tableau required.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise and support in development and optimization of the EHR related to efficient usage, quality initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with PMO, Epic teams, Quality & Safety, clinical integration and other stakeholders to drive process improvements.
• Supports data source design and validation to enable reporting on usage, quality and regulatory compliance.
