Job summary

Gastro Health seeks a Full-Time EHR Project Manager to oversee the implementation and optimization of our EHR system. You will manage planning, configuration, training, and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth adoption and alignment with clinical workflows.

Strong project management, healthcare IT experience, and ability to drive change are essential to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This role offers a collaborative environment with regular weekday hours.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or higher, College Degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred for healthcare role.
• 5 years of healthcare experience focusing on EHR configuration/implementation/support.
• Experience with cost analysis (cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete EHR projects across planning, workflow analysis, configuration, design and training.
• Meet deadlines, assign tasks, monitor progress of multiple projects.
• Oversee database configuration ensuring dependent workflows are designed into the system.
• Create action plans to optimize opportunities.
• Ensure resources for training, support and handoff to internal team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project timelines.
• Monitor systems performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare department performance reports and analyze trends.
• Coordinate department tasks and special projects to ensure quality and timelines.
• Serve on committees as department representative.
• Own projects and seek value-added opportunities.
