Job summary

Centerpoint Health in Middletown, OH is seeking a Health Information Analyst to organize, analyze, and apply health data to improve clinical processes and outcomes. You will oversee EHR projects, train staff, ensure compliance, and support data-driven decisions across leadership and partners.

Responsibilities include coordinating EHR upgrades, form/template design, data modeling, and analytics for internal reporting. Collaboration with IT, vendors, and clinical teams is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required for the role.
• RHIT credential or health information/informatics certificate preferred.
• Minimum three years of EMR experience and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management, oversight, testing and audits for EHR implementations and upgrades.
• Develop ongoing staff training and support to maximize EHR usage.
• Ensure EHR users comply with organizational and legal standards.
• Support policies and procedures for EHR users and build templates to improve efficiency.
• Assist in data model development and maintain data definitions for reporting.
• Integrate data from EHR and other sources for analysis and reporting.
• Support analytic reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board.
• Collaborate with IT, EHR vendors and clinical staff to troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in Quality Committee meetings and provide organizational health information leadership.
