Job summary

State of GA is seeking a GA DPH- IT EHR Enterprise Business Analyst 3 to analyze clinical workflows and manage EHR/Practice Management systems. You will collaborate with clinical, technical, and admin staff to document requirements and support system improvements.

The role requires HL7 expertise, IT security best practices, and experience with cloud platforms, Jira, and Ivanti. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years in a related supervisory position or 3+ years related experience
• Experience supporting EHR and Practice Management systems in healthcare
• Strong knowledge of HL7 and IT security best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Jira/Ivanti
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• On-call availability and flexibility

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless HL7 integration
• Manage and maintain EHR and practice management systems securely
• Gather and document business requirements for the EHR system
• Provide ongoing EHR support including updates and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize clinical workflows and processes
• Generate reports to support clinical and administrative decisions
• Provide Windows troubleshooting and platform support
• Create clear Jira tickets for developers and admins
• Ensure IT security best practices and HIPAA compliance
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies
