Job summary

EnviroLogix in Portland, ME is seeking an EH&S Supervisor who will partner with all departments to create and enforce safety protocols, oversee outsourced maintenance, and lead the EnviroLogix Facilities team.

You will conduct safety inspections and audits, manage SDSs and hazardous waste, deliver training, and drive 5S and continuous improvement. A minimum Associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety and 5+ years in safety or facilities are required; CSP/CIH certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety.
• 5+ years in health, safety and/or facilities roles.
• CSP, CIH or STS certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce comprehensive safety protocols for lab activities.
• Manage SDSs and hazardous waste; coordinate emergency plans.
• Lead safety audits and internal inspections.
• Oversee facilities maintenance and contractor management.
• Deliver safety training and support 5S initiatives.
