Trinseo is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support Loss Control Programs across our Louisville facilities. The role focuses on environmental, safety and health programs, audits, and MOC processes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

You will coordinate EH&S activities, train employees, review SDS, participate in incident investigations, and help drive the Safety on Purpose program while aligning with regulatory requirements and site sustainability metrics.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree in EHS or chemical engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of EHS or chemical engineering experience with exposure to EHS preferred.
• Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer the environmental program for waste, water and air for the Louisville site.
• Participate in and provide data for EH&S audits (internal and external).
• System administrator for document control, security, and EH&S applications.
• Coordinate and assist implementation for EH&S programs within specific facility.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action to determine root cause analysis.
• Initiate and support Management of Change (MOC) for EH&S matters as necessary.
• Serve as facility MOC reviewer for EH&S topics.
• Update and maintain appropriate environmental, safety and health program documents.
• Be an EH&S influential leader with Trinseo EH&S programs.
• Provide trainings of various EH&S topics, e.g. arc flash, fall protection, respirator, SCBA.
