Job summary

Just-Evotec Biologics in Redmond, WA is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee environmental health and safety programs across Seattle/Redmond sites. You will partner with production, labs, and facilities to ensure compliance and drive EHS improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of EHS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science or related field; or scientific degree with EHS training.
• EHS experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or life science industries preferred.
• Experience in lab safety, biosafety, emergency response, hazardous waste management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage environmental, health, and safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and company objectives.
• Raise awareness of environmental and safety practices through diverse communications.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Lead Redmond operations in implementing digital tools for risk assessment, inspections, and chemical management.
• Coordinate safety contractor vetting and training for on-site activities.
• Support local policy gap analyses against US and Global Evotec policies.
• Assist Safety Committee Chairs to meet charter objectives.
• Train and lead the Redmond Emergency Response Team.
• Maintain EH&S records, data, and performance metrics.
• Perform inspections to ensure compliance at the Redmond location.
