Job summary

Sora Resource Group is partnering with a client in Indiana to recruit an EH&S Manager who will lead safety and environmental initiatives at a 36-acre, five-building aluminum foundry complex.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll work with employees and leaders to create a safer workplace, strengthen compliance, and continuously improve EH&S practices across the operation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of EH&S experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Foundry experience is a plus.
• Degree preferred, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address workplace hazards and recommend improvements
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance
• Manage regulatory reporting, record keeping, and SDS documentation
• Maintain emergency response plans
• Lead safety training, including new-hire orientation
• Partner with all areas of the business to build a strong safety culture
