Job summary

The Cambridge, Ohio facility of Tenneco seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to lead all EHS matters, develop safety programs, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role drives continuous improvement, environmental monitoring, and ISO 14001 program maintenance.

Responsibilities include inspections, incident investigations, training, recordkeeping, and collaboration with operations to eliminate hazards and ensure a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional preferred.
• ISO 14001 program knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with OSHA compliance and safety program management.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance and advice on environmental, health and safety matters.
• Identifies hazards and ensures compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Conducts routine surveys to determine unsafe practices and recommends corrective actions.
• Prepares and tracks safety performance metrics for assigned areas.
• Conducts environmental and safety inspections including daily floor reviews.
• Leads and improves safety committees, investigations, and EHS training.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA safety and training requirements.
• Reports safety incidents and maintains required records.
