Hanwha Defense USA, Inc. is seeking a Manager - Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and Explosive Safety to build and lead a comprehensive EH&S program at a new Arkansas site.

You will shape the facility design, implement explosives safety and process safety management, and drive worker safety from construction through full-rate production. You will coordinate with Army and DoD regulators, develop site-wide safety policies, train the workforce, and ensure compliance with DoD standards while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in EH&S, with 5+ years in ammunition/explosives manufacturing.
• Experience building EH&S programs at new/greenfield facilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA PSM, RCRA, Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act compliance.

Responsabilités

• Own explosives safety program for AE operations, including handling, storage, waste, and site plans.
• Lead safety program design, PHA/HAZOP studies, MOC, PSSR, and mechanical integrity in collaboration with engineering and licensor teams.
• Develop and implement site safety and health programs, training, PPE, monitoring, lockout/tagout, confined space, and hot work.
• Oversee construction-phase safety coordination and track safety metrics; promote a culture of stopping work for safety.
• Interface with Pine Bluff Arsenal, USACE, regulators, and Korean partners to ensure US regulatory compliance.
