Job summary

RTX is seeking students for an EH&S co-op at Pratt & Whitney in Macon, Georgia. Partner with leadership and line supervision to ensure regulatory compliance and apply EH&S standards across the site.

You will help track initiatives, assist with audits, and support the EH&S program across the organization. Candidates must be enrolled in a related bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA and prior RTX co‑op or internship experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety or a related field and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Prior RTX co-op, internship or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EH&S regulatory compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and adherence to P&W procedures and RTX EH&S Standard Practices.
• Identify health & safety hazards and controls to mitigate risks.
• Assist the EH&S team with tracking implementation of EH&S initiatives and projects across the organization.
• Gather data on open items from PW sites on Safety, Health, and Risk Reduction metrics or projects.
