Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for EGSE to develop and implement manufacturing processes to build, test and launch satellites and subsystems. The role includes authoring work instructions, troubleshooting test systems, conducting DFM reviews, and ensuring compliance with Quality and Engineering.

This is a 1st shift, U.S.-based position requiring U.S. Citizenship for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with manufacturing experience.
• 0–2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience authoring procedures and managing non-conformances.
• Data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Citizenship and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for EGSE manufacturing, including test racks and harnesses.
• Author work instructions for Manufacturing Test Systems and sub-assemblies.
• Troubleshoot root causes and drive corrective actions for test system non-conformances.
• Conduct DFM reviews for harnessing and ground support equipment.
• Collaborate with Quality to ensure processes meet compliance requirements.
