Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the development of EGSE racks and related equipment for the Mk2 Lunar lander support vehicle. You will drive requirements from design through test and operation, collaborating with software and subsystem teams to ensure safe, repeatable spaceflight operations.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage equipment fabrication and integration in a fast-paced space hardware

Qualifications

  • B.S. in electrical, aerospace, mechanical, CS, or related field.
  • 5+ years of applicable experience.
  • Experience designing circuit card assemblies, test cable harnesses, and equipment enclosures.
  • Ability to lift and install cabling, junction boxes, and other electrical equipment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with electronic test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, loads, network analyzers, BERT, DAQ, etc.)

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. As a part of a small, multi-functional team, you’ll help design, build, and commission Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for the our support vehicle to our Mk2 Lunar lander which will land astronauts on the moon. In a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will develop hardware that supports vehicle integration, test, and launch operations to ensure multiple safe and successful lunar landings. Qualifications
