Job summary

Aviagen USA is seeking a driven shipping and operations leader to coordinate egg route scheduling, deliveries, and related office functions. You will assist the Egg Transportation Director with daily planning, compliance with DOT regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

This role requires supervising drivers, managing maintenance programs for fleet equipment, overseeing biosecurity and safety programs, communicating with depots, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years of relevant transportation experience.
• Must be computer literate and able to generate reports with extreme accuracy.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to supervise drivers fairly.

Responsibilities

• Schedule farm routes for egg pickups and deliveries.
• Manage DOT regulatory compliance.
• Oversee maintenance programs on all operating equipment.
• Oversee company biosecurity programs and safety culture.
• Communicate with egg depot on delivery needs.
• Manage fuel station and freight exceptions.
• Coach drivers to reduce unsafe behaviors.
• Travel to other operation areas approx. 10%.
